Gun, Weapons, Drugs, Cash Seized In Fort Frances

A 39 year-old man faces a long list of charges following a motor vehicle collision on Mill Road in Fort Frances.

Provincial Police arrived to the scene on November 29 and got more then they bargained for.

As a result, members of the Treaty Three Police Service and the Rainy River District Crime Unit were called to assist in the investigation.

Police say Douglas Labelle of Fort Frances faces:

-1 Count of Careless storage of firearm
-3 Counts of Failure to comply with release order
-1 Count of Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
-1 Count of Impaired operation of a Conveyance by drugs or alcohol
-3 Counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
-1 Count of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
-1 Count of possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000
-1 Count of possession of stolen property under $5,000

Labelle remains in custody.
