Gushue hired as Ice Dogs new head coach

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have filled out their coaching staff for next season.

Jake Gushue has been hired as the new head coach of the hockey team.

He replaces Kurt Walsten, who resigned earlier this month.

Gushue had been the teams assistant Geneneral Manager and assistant coach this past year.

He also played for the Ice Dogs during their championship year in 2016/2017.

Earlier the team had announced the hiring of Ben Hackl and Jason Langlais as assistant coaches and Kevin Raine as their skills coach.
