H1N1 Hits Northwestern Ontario

The Northwestern Health Unit is confirming that the H1N1 influenza strain is in the region.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jim Arthurs says there are 16 confirmed cases in the catchment area.
Arthurs says that is all cases, none of the patients received a flu vaccine.
He notes that since 2010, the standard vaccines have included the H1N1 strain.
Arthurs says flu shots are available at most pharmacies throughout the region.
