Area residents are taking advantage of the H-1-N-1 flu clinic’s being offered by the Northwestern Health Unit.
Another session is scheduled in Sioux Lookout Friday from 9 until noon by appointment only.
Director of Health Protection Arlene Lasinki says while exact numbers have not yet been compiled, attendance has been brisk.
She says health unit staff have been able to accommodate local demands for the H-1-N-1 shot quiet effectively.
Lasinki adds some clinics, set up to take appointments, are seeing an increase in walk-in traffic and notes staff are doing their best to accommodate when possible.
