Hampton Calls For Action

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is accusing the Eves Government of dropping the ball on meeting the threat posed by the West Nile virus.
Hampton says Ontario has been slow in implementing strategies to prevent the spread of West Nile.
The NDP leader has developed a province-wide strategy and is providing 75-percent of the money to implement it.
Hampton says Ontario has only agreed to provide matching money that health boards are spending to respond to the problem.
