Hampton Calls For Highway Twinning

Howard Hampton is renewing calls to twin Highway 17 across Northwestern Ontario in light of recent fatal motor vehicle crashes between Kenora and Vermilion Bay.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says while the highway has been upgraded in recent years, it is still a dangerous stretch of road.
Hampton is concerned about an increase in the volume of traffic especially transport trucks.
