There were re-newed calls for the Provincial government
to help out the Froest Industry in Northern Ontario this
morning.
A rally was held in front of Kenora City Hall this
morning.
NDP Leader Howard Hampton says the government needs to
do more to help out lumber companies in the region.

A number of local union groups attended this morning’s
rally.
This is the first of six which will be taking place
across Northern Ontario this month.
