Hampton is Demanding an Apology

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is calling on the Minister of
Natural Resources to apologize to the 4,500 who have lost
their forest industry jobs in Northern Ontario.
Hampton says the fact David Ramsay claims the Province hasn’t been
dramatically effected by the ailing industry is a slap in the North’s face.
The NDP introduced a motion Wednesday that calls for a jobs
commissioner and a better hydro rate for the Region.
The motion was defeated.
