Members of Provincial Parliament are back to work and Kenora-Rainy River MPP
Howard Hampton says Ontario’s finances will be front and centre starting
today.
The NDP Leader says he will also demand that the Liberals unveil a plan
to help Northerners.
Hampton wants to know what the Premier is going to do with his
election promises, now that the deficit is pegged around $6-billion.
He adds Regional Sawmills are in danger of closing, unless the
Government comes up with a policy to curb energy prices.
Legislation that deals with smoking, urban growth and labour reform
are expected to be among the highlights in the new session.
