Howard Hampton will stay as Provincial NDP Leader through the next Ontario Election.
He made the announcement today although the decision was reached last month at a Provincial Council meeting of New Democrats.
The Kenora Rainy River MPP says the party wants him to continue & he is more than happy to comply with the vote of confidence.
Earlier this week Hampton learned the Liberal Government will give the party $775,000 for research & allow 2 questions per day with followups in the House, despite the fact they NDP are 1 seat short of official party status.
