Hampton Still Not Convinced That Birth Certificate

The Liberal Government’s claim that the wait for birth certificates has been reduced to the normal 6-8 weeks is not winning over NDP Leader Howard Hampton.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says this is the 4th time the Grits have claimed the backlog has been fixed and he calls it a dismal failure.
Hampton adds that once the Legislature resumes in the Fall, the public will learn the true situation.
The NDP are demanding Consumer Minister Jim Watson resign over the problem.
