Hampton Supports Energy Proposal

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton says the Conawapa Dam Power project between Ontario and Manitoba could be the way of the future.
A proposal between the 2 Provinces was released earlier this week but both parties still need to sign it.
Hampton says its better than other energy alternatives but the NDP Leader notes that the final piece of the puzzle is who will pay for the multi-billion dollar Transmission Line.
He says its time the Feds cough up some money.
Hampton adds down the road, the line could be used to send Northwestern Ontario’s power resources to the South.
