Hampton Supports Regional Energy Plan

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is applauding the Communication,
Energy and Paperworkers Union for taking up the cause of a regional energy
pricing system.
Hampton says the idea has been pitched to the Liberals several times but nothing has happened.
The NDP Leader says a power authority would help lower energy rates for
the forest industry.
Hampton predicts the Government will promise a lower power rate
for the North but believes it will fall short of what’s needed.
