Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton says he has spoke with representatives of Abitibi-Bowater and hopes mills that are being closed can be sold.

Hampton was relieved the mill in Fort Frances wasn’t affected by the announcement.
But he was quick to add, he feels another of the four big mills in Ontario may be next on the chopping block after the coming review.
