The Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay comes to Dryden this coming Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday, the Relay is in celebration of Hansen’s remarkable Relay of 1984/85.
Twenty-one local medal bearers will take part, with Dryden’s Mark Wherrett bringing the event home to the Centre in Dryden. The relay will start at MacDonalds at about 1:20 and end at the Centre at about 2. The public is invited to take part in ‘end of day’ celebrations at the Centre.
Friday, the Relay will visit numerous schools across Dryden before heading west to visit Vermilion Bay.
