Northwestern Ontario Crimestoppers cleaned up at the annual Provincial
Awards ceremony last week.
The local program won a number of media awards and was also presented
with the 2004 Special Project award.
Co-Ordinator Garry Potter says the award recognized the work done to
expand into Northern Minnesota.
Potter won the International Association of Crimestoppers Presidential
Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Crimestoppers in the
Region.
