‘Harvest Of Love’ Fundraiser For Dryden Mission

The Dryden Mission continues to look at expansion.
The Mission is hoping to establish a Cafe-kitchen next fall and a Men’s Shelter in 2015.
Executive Director Pastor Jim Shearer was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today and he says they are holding a major fundraiser to help them achieve their goal.
Shearer says their fundraising goal is $25,000.
The ‘Harvest of Love’ formal dinner is October 26th at the Best Western.
The event starts at 5:30 with dinner at 6:30.
There will be a live and silent auction at 8 o’clock.
Tickets are $75.
Shearer says the business community has been instrumental in helping them move forward.
He adds they are hoping for a strong turnout from those who use the Mission.
The Mission is also helping out the Food Bank on the 26th.
All proceeds in the thrift store that day will go to the Dryden food bank.
