The Thanksgiving holiday weekend is upon us which means there will be a
heavy police presence on area highways.
Dryden OPP Constable Diane Harder says officers want to ensure that
travelers get to their destination safely.
Harder says officers will be focusing on aggressive drivers, speeders and seatbelt violations.
She adds police will also be cracking down on impaired drivers.
Harder reminds the public that October always brings unpredictable
weather, so motorists are urged to give themselves plenty of time.
Have a Safe Thanksgiving
