Hay Heading West

An ongoing effort to send hay from the Rainy-River District has finally come through.
Kim Joe Bliss from the Emo Research Station received confirmation that Hay West will donate rail cars for the Rainy-River District.
Bliss says some of the 500-bales of hay from farmers can be moved.
She says the next step is to find the transportation to move the hay to the rail cars.
Bliss says the cars will likely arrive in Barwick and then head to drought stricken farmers in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
