Dryden High School

March Break is almost here! The DHS Leadership class has prepared a Spirit Week to keep the spirits high! Today (Monday, March 9th) is Adam Sandler Look Alike Day! Tuesday, March 10th will be Twin Day/Dynamic Duo Day. Wednesday, March 11th is BBQ Dad vs Hockey Mom. Thursday, March 12th enjoy “When I grow up I want to be a…..”. And Friday, March 13th have fun as ‘Freaky Friday’ will have Students dress as Teachers while the Teachers dress like Students!!
The Dryden Eagles boys hockey team are headed to the NORWOSSA finals on Tuesday March 10th at the Dryden Memorial Arena. The Gold medal game will start at one o’clock against the Fort Frances Muskies. If you can’t make it in person you can catch the action on Eagles TV. Full Schedule | DrydenEagles.tv
There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the DHS Eagles graduating class of 2026 on Saturday, March 28th. Tickets available now at Lotto One, DVS Vet Services and the Oxdrift Store.
Sioux North High School

The Sioux North Warriors wrestling team have come back from the OFFSA provincial championship in Peterborough. Grade 9 wrestler Sunny Sakamoto, 10lbs underweight in the 84lb class waged multiple wars and fought her way to the podium for placing 5th. That was the highest placing Sioux Lookout has ever had in recent history. Ty Chabert picked up wins and Connor Quill, Yana Sacoco, and Ethan McCord all had great Warrior wrestling performances.


The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) is hosting another Fireside Chat in the Sioux Lookout area. Led by the Director of Education, Christy Radbourne, the Fireside Chat will take place on March 11th, 2026, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Sioux North High School, and is open to all members of the community. This will be a drop-in event and will not require registration, and there will be a livestream of the event available on Facebook.
Red Lake District High School

The Red Lake Rams boys basketball team is at the 2026 OFSAA ‘A’ Championship in Timmins. First action for the Rams at the Championship is this afternoon (Monday, March 9th) at 3 o’clock Central. Good luck Rams!
Pelican Falls First Nations High School

A reminder for Timberwolves students that this Friday is a PD day and next week is March Break.

Ignace School

Ignace school is excited to be hosting a Basketball tournament on Tuesday, March 10th. Good luck to all of the teams in the tournament!
Friday, March 13th will be Falcon Shirt Day at the school. Be sure to wear your favourite Falcon clothes!
