There’s something for everyone at a health fair being put on by the Northwestern Health Unit.
Public Health Nurse Sue Wood says it’s tomorrow at Lillian Berg School in Vermilion Bay.
Wood says 20 different health care providers will be attending.
This includes Points North Family Health Team, offering blood pressure and glucose screening and the Northwestern Health Unit programs.
Wood says there will be two evening sessions starting a 5pm, featuring Constable Erin Huckell from the Ontario Provincial Police who will be giving a presentation on internet safety.
From 6 to 7:30pm, representatives from the Regional Mental Health and Addictions Services and Firefly will talk about developing positive relationships.
Wood says they hope this session will raise awareness of local health care services.
