Health Minister Deb Matthews says Northerners still have problems getting a doctor.
Matthews identified the problem in an interview today. (Tuesday)
She stresses the Government is working on it.
However, Matthews is reporting encouraging numbers Province-wide as 94% of people now have access to their own doctor.
She says that’s because a record 3,700 doctors were licensed in the province last year, 41% of them from other countries.
