Health Summit continues in Halifax, N.S.

Canada’s premiers and territorial leaders are in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the second day of a health summit.

Today they’ll focus on healthcare innovation.

Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston, who is the chair of the Council of the Federation, told reporters that inter-provincial and international recruitment of healthcare professionals will be part of the discussion.

Carbon pricing and Alberta’s plan to withdraw from the Canada Pension Plan are also on the agenda.

More to come.
