The Northwestern Health Unit is preparing to launch its flu shot campaign.
Local residents are urged to get their shot starting in mid-October.
Manager of Infectious Diseases Donna Stanley says children and seniors are at risk the most and should be getting the vaccine.
Stanley notes pharmacies in Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Kenora and Fort Frances will be offering the flu shot.
