Northwestern Ontario still isn’t a very healthy place to live.
That’s according to the most recent studies being looked at by the Northwestern Health Unit.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. James Arthurs says the most recent data shows that people in this region earn less money and have more high risk behaviors than other areas of the province.
Arthurs says the studies provide valuable input for the Health Unit, because it shows what kinds of programs should be introduced or expanded locally.
