Health Unit Remains Vigilant

There are no cases of the coronavirus in our area.

The Northwestern Health Unit continues to monitor the situation globally as well as here at home.

Public health officials remain confident that the risk level to local residents is low.

Manager of the Infectious Disease Program Donna Stanley says if you are feeling under the weather with a fever or cough, its most likely a common cold or flu bug.

Stanley recommends that you stay home from work and school and don’t visit hospitals and long term care homes.
