Health Unit Reports One New Case

For the second straight day, there was only one new case of COVID-19.

It comes from the Rainy River area.

There are now four active cases in the region; Two in the Sioux Lookout region, one in the Rainy River district and one in the Kenora area.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting two new cases, however the active count hasn’t budged from three.

Ontario recorded 164 new positives, however, the numbers included 80 cases from 2020 as part of a data review and clean-up, resulting in a Tuesday total of 244 cases.

There were 9-COVID related deaths.
