Health Unit Responds to Drug Rates

A new survey of local youth indicates smoking and alcohol rates have
dropped since 2001, however hard drug rates have almost doubled.
Northwestern Health Unit Spokesperson Val Mann says they need to reduce
the availability of hardcore drugs by strengthening some of the current
programs.
Mann stresses student-led initiatives have been successful in previous
years.
