The Northwestern Health Unit doesn’t believe changes need to be made in area schools following four new cases at two schools in Kenora.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young Hoon says school policies are set by the province and they follow their lead.
She notes the province and other public health units are looking at public school policies collectively to see if improvements can be made.
Dr. Kit Young Hoon stresses the Health Unit has a great and tight working relationship with schools.
