The Northwestern Health Unit has released its community health reports.
The reports are the result of consultations last year involving 200-individuals in 12-communities.
Spokesperson Tanis Fretter says they have an obligation to share health data and help communities work together to become more healthy.
Common themes emerged across the region including increasing access to healthy food, active transportation and recreational opportunities.
Drug and alcohol use, mental health, affordable housing and healthy families were other priorities identified.
Fretter says the Health Unit will now work with participating communities on establishing goals and implementing programs.
