Ever wonder what it feels like to hear voices in your head?
Well here’s your opportunity as the local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association is putting on a free workshop tomorrow and on Friday in Dryden.
Peer Support Worker Crystal Norris says it’s called ” Hearing Voices That Are Distracting”.
The 3-hour workshop features a video and a virtual experience where folks can experience what it feels like to hear voices and do daily tasks.
There are workshops Thursday from 1-4pm, 6-9pm and on Friday from 9am-noon at St. Lukes Anglican Church at 50 Van Horne.
They’re open to anyone who works with or cares for someone with a psychiatric disability.
For more information and to register, call Crystal at 223-8841 ext. 24 or email cnorris@cmhaff.ca.
