More downtime in the forestry industry in Northwestern Ontario.
Tembec has announced that its Sawmill in Hearst will be idled for 6-weeks, impacting 125-employees.
The company is also temporarily closing mills in British Columbia and Manitoba as pulp and paper market conditions remain soggy.
A total of 1,400 people will be affected by the downtime.
