Air conditioners will be working overtime the next couple of days.
Heat Warnings are in place in most parts of northwestern Ontario thanks to a warm and moist air front coming from the south.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says temperatures will be in the low 30’s. However, with the humidity it will feel like 34 to 37 on Friday and Saturday.
Laidlaw doesn’t expect to break any records.
He says the record high for Dryden on July 13th is 32.8 set in 1995. For July 14th, the high is 34.4 reached in 1983.
Laidlaw says we will get some relief on Sunday with lower humidity and some thunderstorms.
The Warning includes Dryden, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Ignace, Kenora, Fort Franfes and westward into Winnipeg.
