Stay cool is the message from Environment Canada as much of the Northwest is under a heat warning.
Meteorologist Ria Alsen has some tips to deal with highs that will feel like the mid-thirties today and tomorrow.
She notes the best thing to do is to stay in a cool place, and drink plenty of water.
She reminds you not to leave any pets or people inside a parked car, either.
“That’s where we start to worry about negative health effects for people, especially elderly folks and children,” Alsen explains.
Alsen tells us cold air coming from the western part of the region will cool things down on Monday night. (File Photo)
