Heat Warnings remain in effect across our end of Northwestern Ontario. However, with cooler air beginning to move into the district, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are being issued for some area.
First, the heat. Environment Canada says Hot and humid conditions will continue this evening.
A cold front tonight is expected to bring a cooler airmass to the area Monday.
That being said, Severe Thunder Storm Watches have been issued for Dryden and area and Severe Thunderstorm WARNINGS are out for Sioux Lookout and Hudson.
Thunderstorms have started to develop along a cold front moving across northwestern Ontario. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe with wind gusts of 90 km/h and up to ping pong ball sized hail.
