Heavy Rain Causing Headaches

Heavy rain is causing problems in the Atikokan area.
The Sapawe-Upsala Road is closed from Kilometre 12 to Kilometre 37
due to flooding of the Seine River.
The Road is Highway 623, east of Atikokan, linking Sapawe and
Upsala and will closed until further notice.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the Atikokan area was hit with
48-millimetres of rain Wednesday and Thursday and another 6 was expected
overnight.
All rivers in the area, including the Atikokan River, are swollen and
continue to rise.
