The Ministry of Natural Resources is asking the public to use extreme
caution on the Red Lake-Gullrock Lake system.
Steady rain has caused floating debris and high water conditions and
boaters need to be extra attentive when using the system.
Spokesperson Nadine Thibeau notes there is no immediate danger of
flooding.
But she suggests home and camp owners on the Red Lake system should keep an eye on
their property and to move anything on the shoreline to higher ground.
Thibeau adds motorists should be aware that several access roads are
experiencing flash flooding and washouts.
