Three men from Southern Ontario have been slapped with a $10,000 fine for illegal moose hunting on Lac Seul.
Court heard that last October the trio were part of a hunting party that had shot and killed a bull and cow moose.
An investigation determined the two tag holders were over 12-kilometres away from the location where the animals were shot.
Tyler Clouthier of Huntsville pleaded guilty for hunting a cow moose without a licence and attaching his tag to a moose killed by another person.
Brian Inskter of Dundalk pleaded guilty for hunting a bull moose without a licence.
Brent Osborne of Dundlak pleaded guilty for attaching his tag to a moose killed by another person.
