20 fire crews from Saskatchewan are flying into the region Monday to help battle wild fires.
Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Information Officer Chris Marchand says they will be dispatched to a 400-hectare fire near the Ontario/Manitoba boundary.
Strong winds overnight caused some problems for crews fighting the blaze, about 33-kilometres north of White Dog First Nation.
Marchand says Sunday turned out to be the busiest day so far this season with 31-new wild fires, 22-of them in the Red Lake District.
