Heritage Meeting

City planners and Councils from across the Region will be meeting in
Kenora next week to speak with representatives from the Heritage Ministry.
Spokesperson Garry Wheeler says the 2 day workshop will update
municipalities on the Heritage and Planning Acts.
Some incentives in the historic places initiative include a reduction
in property taxes and heritage friendly homes.
