Two members of the Minnesota Wilderness are up for national awards.
Gordy Defiel has been named a finalist for the Canadian Junior Hockey top goaltender award.
He posted a 25-1-2 record this year and led all SIJHL goalies in wins, goals-against average, save percentage and shutouts.
His goals-against average and save percentage set SIJHL single season records and led the entire Canadian Junior Hockey League.
Jake Larson is up for the top rookie award.
Larson finished with 44-goals and 28-assists in 49-games.
He finished the season with a 19-game point streak and was second in the league in scoring.
