High Risk Offender Returning To Dryden

Dryden Police are alerting the citizens of Dryden about a high risk offender who is about to return to the community.
Police say 81-year-old William “Bill” Sidney, who was convicted on several counts of sexual interference involving young children, has been released from Stoney Mountain Prison in Manitoba.
Police say they believe Sidney poses a high risk to re-offend and they say it is in the public interest that Dryden residents be notified.
Police add Sidney is currently on conditions not to be in areas where children under age 14 are present.
