High School Report Card

Mixed grades for Northwestern Ontario Secondary Schools in the Fraser
Institute 2008 report card.
Rainy River public received the highest local grade with an 8.3 out of
10, the 39th best in all of Ontario.
Dryden was next at 7.5, followed by Atikokan at 6.8, St. Thomas Aquinas
in Kenora at 6.6 and Fort Frances at 6.2.
Beaver Brae High School in Kenora was just above the 5 grade, while Red
Lake and Sioux Lookout scored below average marks.
The right-wing think tank looks at the province’s standardized test
results.
