Contract talks between the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, the province and schools boards have broken off again.
Two days of talks over the weekend failed to solve the labour dispute with high school teachers.
The teachers union says it has now applied for a Ministry of Labour conciliator.
Union President Paul Elliot says they’d like to reach a negotiated settlement, but can’t agree to terms that would undermine working conditions or lead to inferior learning conditions for students.
Right now job action is taking place in three school board districts in Ontario, including Sudbury.
