High Water Levels on Lac Seul

Heavy rain as of late is causing some concern for Officials at the Lake of the Woods Control Board.
Spokesperson Rick Cousins says water levels on Lac Seul are unusually high and they are closely watching things.
Cousins is confident the situation will improve and says they are taking a wait and see approach for now.
The Board has no plans to increase outflows at this time.
He warns that if the situation doesn’t improve it could cause problems over the winter.
Lake of the Woods, Rainy Lake and Rainy River are in the same situation.
