(16 Oct 8:35 am )Highway 17, east of Ignace, is closed again due to poor weather and road conditions.
The Trans-Canada is closed in both directions between the Highway 11 junction in Shabaqua and Raith.
Barricades are in place.
The highway was briefly closed overnight as a result of the weather.
Meantime, Schreiber Fire officials report slippery and dangerous conditions as well as poor visibility on Highway 17 along the Northshore of Superior.
