Highway 17 Crash Kills One

OPP say one person is dead following a single vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Vermilion Bay this morning.
Police say a transport truck hit a rock cut around 1-AM about one kilometre west of Blue Lake Road.
The driver was the only occupant.
The truck caught fire, forcing the complete closure of the highway.
However, police say Highway 17 has fully reopened. (at 8:15-AM Central Time)
The name of the driver will not be released until family members are notified.
