Highway 17 Improvements

Highway 17, east of Ignace, will receive a major upgrade.
The Provincial Government has announced plans to resurface and
reconstruct a stretch of the Trans-Canada near English River.
Improvements include increasing the shoulder width along existing
passing lanes, drainage enhancements and upgrades to 3-snow plow
turn-arounds.
Miller Northwest has been awarded the $9.3-million contract and
work is expected to start shortly and wrap up this Fall.
