Highway 17 Re-Opened Following Transport Fire

Highway 17 between Vermilion Bay and Kenora is open once again following a transport fire.
OPP closed the Highway, about 30-kilometres west of Vermilion Bay around 3 o’clock this morning. (Monday)
Police say a transport caught on fire.
The Trans-Canada was closed for nearly an hour to allow fire crews time to extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured.
