Some tense moments for a transport driver Friday at the intersection of Highway 17 and Airport Road.
The driver had to pull over when his vehicle suddenly got caught on fire.
The Dryden Fire Service arrived to find an axel, break wheel burning on a flat bed trailer.
Officials say the flames reached the cargo load on the trailer.
Several truckers and motorists used fire extinguishers to knock down the main fire and Dryden firefighters spent about 30-minutes to complete the job.
The transport driver was treated for minor burns to his hands.
